When neither the chicken nor the egg come, government intervenes. At least this is what is actively occurring in the automotive space. As we progress as a society, it’s only natural to continue advancing our technology to the point where we begin to descend the parabolic arc of carbon emissions and inadvertently, energy efficiency.
Despite the obvious limiting factors such as range, cost, extreme heat/cold degrading efficiency, time lapse to recharge, and the inconsequential degradation of foreign economies as local policy blocks mineral extraction (which I have my own theory behind), electric vehicles don’t have a whole lot to offer other than state of the art technologies, large visual displays, and autonomous driving capabilities.
