Supply chains still seem to be a problem. The ability to source base materials for manufacturing, crops for feedstock, or unfinished goods to integrators is necessary to keep the economy chugging along and inevitably result in lower prices for finished goods. In some instances, just getting the products from point A to point B can be a challenge. For O&G, pipelines are the most efficient methodology. Next would be trains and trucks, though those pose their own hazards. For other goods that aren’t as malleable, freighters and widebody aircraft are the best options. Then comes the last mile delivery where you see delivery vans and trucks clogging up neighborhood streets where tech companies are fighting to automate the driving and delivery process. Regardless of where you’re at in the shipping process, moving product from point A to point B will always be a challenge.
